Comprises mostly postcard-sized studio portraits, taken by a number of New Zealand photographic studios, of unidentified persons circa 1880s -1920's. Includes images of individuals and family groups in formal attire; brides and grooms; children and babies; soldiers in uniform; men posing with their horses; two pre-teens dressed in costumes, and a partially hand coloured image of a woman in Victorian dress.
