The grandmothers.

Warren, Marama, author, artist, binder, book designer.

"Skies of shining sentinels steer the fleet of treasure ships, the ancient Chinese feather ships - south through oceans, rolling, sighing, swaying, creaking, swelling, seeking - seeking new land where lost lands of legend lie submerged; Waianga-noa, Ta Rua and Mu, the home of Uri-Marama. The grandmothers are singing songs of epic journeys to new worlds. The grandmothers are singing songs of travelling beyond the known"--Text.
