All images taken in Porirua, showing groups of patched Mongrel Mob members at a convention in 1982. Some are leaning against cars, including a Ford Zephyr, and there is a building in the background. Most of the men are drinking from beer bottles and one man is carrying two boxes of beer to the group by the car. One man sitting on the bonnet of the car belongs to the South Island chapter, and another man is from the Upper Hutt chapter (frames 11 & 12); and some have swastikas on their clothes. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
