All frames were taken at a Te Moana family gathering, possibly at Maraeroa Marae, Waitangirua. A pākehā man is playing with a group of small children in a field of long grasses (frames 1 to 4); a woman is bending, looking at her small daughter's ear (frames 5 & 6); a young man is sitting on a motor-bike by the pavement with a group of children watching (frames 8 & 9); a woman is sitting on a chair beside a man who has been identified as Dennis Te Moana (possibly Denis Te Moana) (frames 10 & 11); and a woman is playing cards at a table (frame 12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
