Description

All scenes taken at Hiruharama (Jerusalem) marae, on the Whanganui River. Most images taken in a lean-to attached to a house. Several adults are sitting in a corner (frames 1 & 2); a young Māori is helping a young fair-haired boy wash his hands and face in a tub of water (frames 3 to 8); and a young couple are sitting in the lean-to (frames 10 to 12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
