All scenes taken in the grounds at the Hiruharama marae, on the Whanganui River. A man is leaning over a fence (frames 1 to 3); a group of women and girls are laughing at something (frame 4); an older woman is talking to a man (frames 5 to 8); and several people are seen inside a hall (frames 9 to 12) of whom one woman is sitting at a table (frames 10 & 11). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
