Frames 1 to 6 show views in Matangireia, the Māori Affairs Committee Room at Parliament (dedicated to the Māori Affairs Committee when Parliament House was completed in 1922). They show patched gang members, with part of the large panel reproducing the Treaty of Waitangi in the background (frames 1, 2 & 6). Frames 7 to 12 show a parade of children wearing medieval-styled costumes at Karori West Normal School, outside in the school grounds. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
