All frames taken in the Maidstone Mall in Upper hutt about the time of its opening in October 1974. Scenes show different groups people, some at a shoe store outside Bentleys Menswear, a young girl (carrying a life-sized baby doll) looking a a counter selling sweets, and, in frames 7 to 12 a male staff member in Farmers is putting a dress on a mannequin. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
