Pipitea Pā

Historic pā site predating European settlement in Wellington Harbour. In existence in 1849, between Kaiwharawhara and Pipitea Point. Pipitea Pā has been described as having been the leading settlement with its centre near present day Pipitea Marae, but not at the same locality.

A synonymous term for this locality may have been Cliff Pā.
