Four frames show scenes at the tangi (funeral) of Inia Te Wiata, Raukawa Marae, Otaki, in 1971. Two frames show workers on the marae, one with large cooking pots hanging over an outdoor fire. One frame shows Whetu Tirikatene-Sullivan and Duncan MacIntyre, Minister of Maori Affairs, arriving at the tangi by the entrance to Raukawa Marae.
