Frames 1 and 2 show a group by a vehicle on the Whanganui River Road. All the rest were taken at the Jerusalem commune set up by James K Baxter, on the veranda of one of the settlement's houses. Of these, musician Don Franks is seen in frames 6 to 12 playing a violin. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
