Description

Images show scenes of Ratana Church officials with MP Sir Eruera Tirikatene outside the General Assembly Library, during their visit to Parliament in Wellington. Also shows scenes of the party's visit to Government House, where members met the Governor General, Sir Bernard Ferguson, and his wife Lady Ferguson. Photographs taken in 1964 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.

Shows group portraits of the Ratana members standing on the steps of the General Assembly Library building. Frames 2 and 3 show Mrs Puhi Ratahi, President of the Ratana Church, and Sir Eruera Tirikatene. Frame 7 shows Mrs Puhi Ratahi and husband. Frames 8-12 show group on the driveway of Government House with the Fergusons.
