Images show scenes from the annual reunion of World War I Maori servicemen, Tikitiki Marae, also St Mary's Church, Tikitiki, East Coast, taken in 1963 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.
The reunion of Maori World War I veterans coincided with a visit to the East Coast by the Governor General, Sir Bernard Fergusson and Lady Fergusson. Images show scenes of people outside the Tikitiki marae, as well as people attending a church service at St Marys. Frame 1 shows a carving on the meeting house wearing a monocle. Frame 3 shows the Reverend T. Kaa, and frame 4 shows Sir Fergusson standing in front of the congregation.
