Betty Alice Plant born Abel Tasman Street, Wellington. Outlines family background - father was involved in the silk trade and was a Bible class leader / youth leader in Old St Pauls in 1906. Backgrounds involvement in Netball. Recalls 1975 World Tournament, when New Zealand played same game as Australia. Gives details of differences between the two games. Recalls playing for the `Tuis', with reference to Rita and Ngaire Ogorman and Annie Calder. Captained the Third Test Team in 1948. Describes the uniform. Was on the New Zealand Netball Association (NZNA) from 1969 to 1979 and became International Treasurer in 1971.
