Description

Colour transparencies of birdlife and sailing scenes taken by James (Jim) Watt in Chile during the Totorore expedition, circa Jul-Dec 1983.

Set includes images of kelp gulls, dolphin gulls (a colony at Guafo Island's northern point), hooded gulls, cormorants ("bigua olivaceus", "albiventer magellanicus", and "rock olivaceus", including at Ancud and Punta Arenas) turnstones, surfbirds, sanderlings, and [Gamardi/ Camardi?]. Also contains slides of a bee on a coral bell flower, the 'Totorore' anchored, and the sail boat 'Contre Jour'.

Inscriptions: Note from depositor reads: '"Favourite slides from Chile 83" Box 2'.
