Description

Panoramic view looking across a wide beach on Mayor Island, sea on the left. Seven men in two groups are hauling two large swordfish and a shark up the beach towards a form of scaffold with markers for measuring the length of the fish and with ropes hanging from a cross-beam. Small fishing hut centre left in front of a line of pohutukawa trees which edge the beach right across the image. Taken by Robert Percy Moore.
