Colour slide photographs taken by John Reinder Fijn of mahi a rehia performers at the Te Tii Marae tent village where they were accommodated during the visit of Queen Elizabeth II to Waitangi, 6 Feb 1963. A man wearing piupiu and black and white kakahu is photographed a number of times. He is also holding taiaha. Another man is shown polishing a taiaha. One images shows a young boy (with corn growing in the background) and another a group of female performers emerging from a tent.
Set originally labelled by Fijn as: "Waitangi Warrior full dressed in front of tent". Original enclosure retained with images.
