- Description
Cartoon depicts Labour Party Leader David Cunliffe delivering his plan to become government beside a poster of Lalia Harre dangling from the coattails of Hone Harawira. The listening Labour Party strategists question his plan, saying they may need Hone and Laila after the election. Accompanying note from the cartoonist reads "Given the combined opinion poll rating for Labour-Greens is only 40 per cent, the only way to gain power will be via a third party. It appears the only way the Internet-Mana Party will become that third party is via the 'coat-tailing' provision. Vigorously attacking that specific provision by Labour is self-destructive."
