- A full-frontal portrait of a Tongan woman, looking distinctly European with pale skin and fair hair. She is bare-breasted but wears a multi-layered skirt in several colours, a double-stringed necklace and metal wrist and ankle bands, as well as hoop earrings. She has one hand placed on her hip and is possibly performing a dance The work is likely to be from Grasset de Saint-Sauveur's 'Encyclopedie des voyages ...' published in Paris in 1796 Other Titles - Woman of the Friendly Islands [translation] Other Titles - Woman of Tonga [translation] Quantity: 1 colour art print(s).
