Indian Mohiniattam and Kathakali dancer and performing artiste resident in Australia. She was the founder of the Akademi in England. She immigrated to Australia where she gained Fellowships at Monash University and became Director of Performing Arts at the Monash Asia Institute. She is also the founder and director of her dance company and school, Natya Sudha in Melbourne, Victoria and has also acted. In 2009 she received the Medal of Order of Australia.
