Mixture color [sic] honeysuckly [i.e. honeysuckle] on left of verandah, also rose tree in centre of house. Dark furs [i.e. firs] at background. Poplars, willows, back of house. Between weather guage a large tree on left is a coffin beech [i.e. copper beech], beetroot color. On extreme right under birch tree are pink and white rhodondendron [i.e. rhododendron] trees (2). On extreme right of verandah is a lilac tree
