Description

Shows Co-leader of the Maori Party Tariana Turia who is covered in cuts and bruises. On the floor is a broken bottle of water representing 'water rights'. A silhouette of Prime Minister John Key has given her flowers and like guilty husband expresses gratitude that she has taken him back. Context: The government needs coalition with the Maori Party to ensure numbers. The Maori Council has brought the issue of water rights to the Waitangi Tribunal in a bid to halt government asset sales. The Maori Party has set up a meeting about the water rights issue between the Iwi Leaders Group and the Government which has given assurances to the Maori Party.
