Photograph showing three men the jetty at Pipiriki, Whanganui River, and two launches moored to the jetty. The smaller jet boat is named 'Rangimarie', and has two men sitting inside. A Maori wooden canoe on the river is in the foreground. Behind the scene is a truck carrying wool bales, and a car on the side of the road leading up the hill. Taken for the Evening Post newspaper of Wellington by an unidentified staff photographer.
