Description: Wellington Jazz Club photograph album, compiled by Bill Hamer, containing photographs and ephemera relating to jazz musicians from New Zealand and overseas, taken between 1950 and 1993 by a range of photographers. All the images are captioned and dated. (Note: some information is on the backs of prints and email correspondence, which has not been digitised) The images mainly show the artists performing but there are also some portraits, mostly informal. Some are of Hamer. The ephemera is chiefly newspaper cuttings and tickets to the shows. Performers include Ken Avery, Valley Stompers, Darkstown Strutters, Ronnie Scott and Ralph Sutton.
