Diary of a Supply Company officer

Jan-July 1943

Volume is the working log of an unidentified Supply Company officer. From the record it would appear that the author was based in the Manawatu District as many entries are for transactions in Levin, Linton, Wanganui, Palmerston North and Pahiatua. Details the daily activites of the officer and includes what was purchased for the depot, where from, and at what price. Comments on visits to other depots, monthly reports and furlong leave for staff. Also recounts rationing of vouchers for fuel, oils and meats. The back of the diary includes some financial details of accounts.
