Novelty Christmas card shows a frontal illustration of a cat dress in a white gathered gown with a frilly collar. The front of the cat is on one piece of card, and is attached to the back legs and tail by concertina-folded paper, so that the "body" of the cat can be elongated. The handwriting on the verso reads: "For Granny's boy across the sea with a sweet kiss". An added note reads: "from a very old friend Mrs Wilkins in England".
