The cartoon shows Colonel Gaddafi, former ruler of Libya with a large 'X' across his face and a similarly large tick above. Text reads 'LIBYAration'. A second version includes the text 'We yelled... "Gaddafi Duck!"... but he didn't.' Context: Although Gaddafi's forces initially held out in the battle for Sirte against NATO's bombing attacks and the NTC's advances, Gaddafi was captured alive in Sirte by members of the Libyan National Liberation Army after his convoy was attacked by NATO warplanes as Sirte fell on 20 October 2011. Gaddafi was then killed in controversial circumstances by NLA fighters. (Wikipedia)
