Includes photographs of the family and descendants of Charles Hill, father of composer Alfred Hill, and Mable McIndoe (nee Hill) who married the Dunedin printer John McIndoe. Also the Everton family, linked to the Hill family by the marriage of Eila Hill to Harold Everton in 1918. These two were Margaret Everton's parents. There are photographs relating to Margaret Everton's life which include school and university photographs, photographs of holidays taken in New Zealand, her brother Ted Everton and his family, and photographs relating to the 22 years that Margaret Everton taught at Ardmore Teachers College, Auckland.
