'Australia apologises to Aborigines'. "One.. two.. three! Right on cue.." "WE want one too!" 15 February, 2008
- Date

- Description
In four frames an MP is seen sitting at his desk reading a newspaper that has a report about Australia apologising to the Aborigines. The MP counts slowly to three and then thinks to himself 'Right on cue' as Co-leader of the Maori Party, Tariana Turia, comes through the door demanding an apology too. Refers to the Australian Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, apologising to the Aborigines for historic wrongs and particularly to those who were taken from their families as the 'lost generation'. Suggests that Tariana Turia is very sensitive to grievances.
