Shows a general view of Auckland harbour with North Head and Rangitoto Island in the distance. Steamships, paddlesteamers, yachts, a sailing ship and a rowboat are sailing on the calm water. There is a jetty at the far right and in the right distance a steam train approaching the wharf.
