Interior of the ballroom, Government House, Auckland, taken ca 1903 during the residency of Lord and Lady Ranfurly, probably by Herman John Schmidt of Auckland. The roof is festooned with swags of foliage, bent wood chairs line the walls and the floor is ready for dancing.
