- Description
A dairy owner wielding a hockey stick spins as he is attacked by a youth with a knife from one direction and a policeman with a conch from another. Refers to an incident when Virender Singh, 40, claimed he was using self-defence when he used a hockey stick during a violent brawl in September, 2008, during an attempted robbery of his store in Otara. Four people were hospitalised following the incident. Virender Singh was charged but the charges werer dropped. This incident caused considerable public anxiety.
