Photograph shows two men standing near a horse and cart on a rutted clay road in a rural area. There are farm buildings on the right side of the road, where another two men are standing by.
The two men on the right of the photograph have been identified as District Constable Andrew Thomas McKnight (at left, in shirtsleeves) and District Constable Walker (no other details provided), two members of the New Zealand Armed Constabulary. They are standing outside the cottage that had been rented for them in Papakura (information provided by a researcher)
