A large tree representing 'SCF' (South Canterbury Finance) has fallen onto a house, exposing piles of 'toxic loans' beneath its roots and trapping a number of people. An official points at the 'toxic loans' and says that they are the problem as they were not well rooted. Another man comments that 'the shareholders are!' Refers to the news that South Canterbury Finance is to be placed in receivership and investers will be compensated by the taxpayer. Allan Hubbard, the majority shareholder in the company, and his wife were personally placed in statutory management on June 20 this year.
