Description

Looking across the houses of Wanganui in an south-eastward direction towards the river and Shakespeare cliffs. Mr King is probably Samuel Popham King, who lived with his sisters, Mary and Martha (the artist) in Wanganui. A two-storied house is prominent in the foreground, probably the King household. Right side of a 2-part panorama, with left side and beginning of title missing. On verso of A-292-059.
