The man towards the rear is holding a rectangular object in his left hand Joppien / Smith number for this drawing is 3.75 Detailed catalogue prepared by the South Sea Library London, accompanies drawings in box A-264 Other Titles - a canoe with two Tongans Inscriptions: Recto - top right - title in ink.
