View of a large house, newly built on Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, New Zealand. The near side shows the exterior wall of a conservatory, and the shadow of a flag can be seen at the top of a flagpole. The house sits alone in a cleared pastoral landscape facing Victoria Avenue. The extent of its section is indicated by plantings of young trees along the boundary. A broom hedge can also be seen on the near boundary. Other fencing hedges can be seen along paddock boundaries, in some places mixed with post and rail fences. A low plank fence runs along the edge of Victoria Avenue. Other buildings can be seen in the distance.
