View looking south towards Northcote Wharf with Auckland in the distance. To the left is a house overlooking Little Shoal Bay and the Waitemata Harbour. A white picket fence, power lines and a gas lamp light can also be seen on the lefthand side. A horse-drawn bus is on the unsealed road outside the house. Taken ca 1910 by William Archer Price of Auckland. In print 1/2-001703-G the street is identified as Queen Street. In prints 1/2-000054-G and 1/2-000051-G it is identified as Fraser's Corner. Inscriptions: Photographer's title on negative - bottom right - Northcote, Auckland, 1998 William Archer Price lived and practised in Queen Street, Northcote, 1909-1910.
