New Zealand prime minister Thomas McKenzie as a brigand is creeping up on a maori peacefully digging his garden, watched by a woman seated in front of a meeting house. Behind McKenzie hovers a large farmer idientified as 'Pakeha Land Monopolist'.
The cartoon is signed 'W.M. 1912' at the bottom.
