Photograph of Volkswagen beach buggy with owner, Mr Bridges, behind the wheel and Peter Parnell, who oversaw the conversion of the vehicle from an old Volkswagen, standing. Photograph taken by an unknown photographer and published in the Evening Post ca March 1972.

The original caption states that the owner called his vehicle a bandicoot buggy because of its resemblance to the Australian marsupial.
