Photographs, chiefly taken by Maurice D'Oisly, when on tour through New Zealand and Australia with his wife, the singer Rosina Buckman, and her mother Henrietta Buckman.
Images begin on the RMS Ionic, travelling from Southampton to New Zealand, including scenes of shipboard life; Panama Canal; various passengers and crew on the ship.
Shipboard staff include Captain (also called Commander) Jones, Chief Engineer Scott, Purser Gregson, and Dr Irving. Passengers include Mrs Guthrie-Smith and her daughter Barbara Guthrie-Smith.
