View looking across at the White Terraces from a high point, with Lake Rotomahana, two canoes, and steam rising from various points
Either done during the 1860s or early 1870s when the artist was living in Auckland, and annotated later; or done in Australia, after he had left New Zealand, copying an earlier watercolour.
