Sketch shows a view of a curve in the river with two canoes, one near to the viewer with five occupants, and one further away. Behind the further canoe, reflected in the water, are four structures of vertical wooden poles (possibly a hakari / food storage tower). These are either on the far bank or standing in the water close to the bank. There are hills in the distance, and vegetation in the left foreground and right background.
