Description

Shows a living room in which mother sits reading while auntie looks disapproving and the schoolgirl daughter sits listening to a radio programme on how to apply cosmetics. She wears a gymfrock and is heavily made-up. Refers to a newspaper clip about a Hertfordshire school where the girls are to be taught the art of make-up.

There is a newsclipping entitled 'Schoolgirls to be taught best way to make-up' in the upper left corner of the cartoon.
