Aerial view looking south over Wellington, showing (from left) Featherston Street, Stout Street and Lambton Quay. Intersecting them are (from front) Whitmore Street and Ballance Street. Maginnity Street may be seen to the left of centre, and The Terrace runs diagonally from right to left in the background. Shell House, on The Terrace, is in the centre. Copy negative made by the Evening Post April 1962 from a photograph taken October 1960 by an unknown photographer.
