Attributed to William Howard Homes on stylistic grounds. Shows Mathieson and Schultze's flourmill to the right with a red-cloaked man leading a horse along Old Porirua Road on the left. Wellington Harbour can be seen in the distance, the building on the near-side of the harbour is possibly the Rainbow Hotel. Matiu / Somes Island and Wellington City are also shown.
