Shows the rocky outcrops in the sea off the coast at Island Bay, Wellington. Taputerangi Island is in the sea in the background
Possibly drawn from the home of Robert Martin, of The Parade, Island Bay. The view from his house, (still standing by 2010) is very similar to this view. He was a painter and paperhanger, and stockist of artists' materials in his Manners Street shop
