- Description
Rodney Hide Leader of the ACT Party walks a tightrope made of the words 'hypocrisy', 'ethics' and 'credibility' while at the same time juggling 'Roy' and 'Garrett' balls with one hand and digging deep into an 'expenses' pot with the other. The safety net below represents the 'coalition'. Refers to chaos in the ACT Party because of a public spat between Rodney Hide and Heather Roy whom he has dumped as his deputy in favour of John Boscawen and more importantly the scandal caused by David Garrett's past misdemeanours which include his stealing a dead baby's birth certificate to get a false passport as a kind of joke. However the PM has affirmed that he believes Rodney Hide exercises good judgement, this his critics believe, because of the danger of the coalition slipping. (NZ Herald)
