View looking south along Hobson Street, Thorndon, towards the intersection with Davis Street, taken ca 1859 by an unknown photographer. Standing in the street are Robert Park and Mrs Jessie Crawford. In the background may be seen a schooner in the Harbour, and Mount Victoria.

Jessie Crawford is pregnant in this photograph. Her son, Henry Duncan Crawford, was born in 1859.
