The ship Chatham "Chatham, ship off New Plymouth" is a barque, not the Chatham in which Vancouver circumnavigated the world in the late eighteenth century.
This sketchbook contains many of the preliminary sketches for the more finished studio drawings in the Library's two large albums, E-452-f & E-453-f
